What's New with the Office of the Resident Ombudsman
for MIAA-NAIA/DFP?
The Resident Ombudsman for MIAA-NAIA/DFP, Atty. Rainier Almazan, has scheduled lectures on "Corruption and Public Accountability" in various offices under his jurisdiction.
Monthly reports of accomplishments have been forwarded to the Office of the Ombudsman-Central Office, including memoranda, cases/complaints evaluated or investigated and requests for assistance.
Monitoring of activities within the airport are continuously being conducted to pro-actively deter any act of graft and corruption, or of any crime.

What's New with the Office of the Ombudsman?
NEW OFFICE BUILDING
The Office of the Ombudsman has transferred offices at the Office of the Ombudsman Building, Agham Road (near Quezon Avenue), Quezon City.
The new building houses the Central Office, Office of the Over-all Deputy Ombudsman, and the Offices of the Deputy Ombudsman for Luzon and the Deputy Ombudsman for the Military.
FAREWELL TO THE OMBUDSMAN
On August 2, 2002, Ombudsman Aniano Desierto was given a Despidida Party at the Office of the Ombudsman-Central Office. His term of office as Ombudsman expired on August 4, 2002.
